2D Animation / Stop Motion Degree

This program prepares students for professional careers within 2D fields and sculpting. Thanks to the balance between traditional techniques and new technologies, students will develop their creativity and reveal their artistic and technical skills through hands-on workshops supervised by studio artists.

During their training, they will learn how to lead team projects in the real conditions of professional production.

1st Year - Fundamentals

2nd Year - Refinement

• Artistic Development
• Creative Development: Concept Art, Character Design

Professional Workshops: Motion Design, Traditional Animation, 2D Digital Animation, Stop-Motion, Puppet Rigging

3rd Year - Specialization & Production

Project: Create & Direct a short 2D animation or Stop Motion project

• An internship in a professional setting
• A presentation in front of a jury panel of professional artists
• Conferences & Meetings with Professional artists
• Speed Interview sessions

Driven by technological developments and public expectations, traditional methods of animation are back on the scene, and each year there are more 2D productions than the previous year. In 2018, 30% of animated films released in theaters were 2D animation films, and 20% of films were Stop-motion.
