Introduction

Bio Informatics is a field that combines life sciences with computer science. This pioneering field is at the forefront of research in life sciences, developing up-to-date research methods and the renewable possibilities of using computerized algorithms. Since the breakthrough in discovering the structure of the DNA molecule, scientists have begun to accumulate more and more information on the DNA sequences of humans and other organisms. This information is key to future developments in medicine, but there is a need to find new ways to observe it. It is the task of bioinformatics, which deals with the decoding of biological systems, to process the accumulated data from the rapidly evolving biological research and find applications in medicine and industry. This is a unique study track for the Lev Academic Center, which focuses on advanced genome flooring methods, analyzing large data sets, the use of data mining tools, and the computerized design of pharmaceuticals.
