This program focuses on the study of organizations and the use of personnel as a primary institutional resource. Emphasis is placed on a behavioral science/management approach in which the understanding of individual behavior and group processes is combined with the techniques of the management of personnel within an organisation. This interdisciplinary approach draws from the fields of Management, Social Psychology, and Organizational Behavior to create skills in interpersonal and intergroup relations.
The mission of the Human Resource Management Programme in Park University’s School of Business is to prepare students with theoretical, quantitative, and practical backgrounds so they can develop and use valid and reliable human resource management instruments and practices. Students are equipped to make decisions that are fair, ethical and compliant with employment regulations, while serving the organisation and stakeholders.
