Psychology is a discipline whose goal is to understand and improve the functioning of individuals, groups, and societies as a whole. Some psychologists deal with diagnosis and treatment of mental health issues, but psychological knowledge and skills are necessary for a number of professions dealing with various challenges related to human mind and behavior. In other words, psychology graduates can pursue their careers in a variety of fields, including education, media, market research, marketing and advertising, healthcare, business, or IT research and design.

Specializations
Students specialize in 4 thematic areas: Behavioral Psychology (also known as behavior analysis) the comprehensive use of empirically validated principles of learning to develop, implement, and evaluate practical strategies that enhance the abilities and self-direction skills of children and adults in the community, home, and educational settings.
Conflicts are inherent to social interaction in families, communities, organizations, and international relations. Conflict dynamics, if well managed, is an essential part of social change, fostering adaptive social processes. The theory and practice of conflict resolution and leadership are focused on such conflict management processes, through the use of negotiations, mediations, and coaching techniques, and based on theory-based models of conflict dynamics.
Within Mind-Communication-Technology: popularity and accessibility of eye-tracking methods have been rapidly growing in the last several years. Eye-trackers allow us to measure and record eye position and movement. They are used in basic psychological research, help design better web pages or user-friendly computer programs, and even allow to building of special communication systems for the disabled.
Psychology of acculturation and economic migrations enables contact with cultural diversity, conducting cultural interviews and experience with multicultural school education as well as doing business in an intercultural environment.
What Next?
Upon the completion of the program, graduates can continue their studies.
- Students can pursue certification in the Behavior Analysis Certification Board. The principles and procedures developed within Behavioral Psychology have been successfully applied in areas such as Clinical Psychology, Traditional and Special Education, Business, Industrial Safety, Addiction, Self-Management, and Rehabilitation.
- Students can decide to continue their education at the Master's level in the Clinical Psychology specialization if they are interested in working as a professional psychotherapist.
- Psychology of Conflict Management can be expanded in areas of negotiation, mediation, coaching, communication, and management.
