Introduction
Bachelor of Business Administration
Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) started in 1995 as an addition to the faculty’s existing programs at that time. It replaces the existing Bachelor of Agribusiness program which was offered since 1974. The aim of this program is to produce graduates with skills and knowledge in business management in order to fulfill the demand in the industry and services sectors. The graduates are trained to be proactive, to think critically, to be competitive and to adopt working culture required in businesses.
Employment Opportunities
Students with this qualification are able to:
- Work in the private sector as executives in the field of marketing, finance, human resource, etc. both in local and international organizations in various industries such as banking, property, production, trades, telecommunications, etc.
- Work in the public sector as part of the management in government and statutory bodies.
- Perform as a reliable entrepreneur.
Curriculum Component
The program curriculum of Bachelor of Business Administration is divided into four (4) components: University, core, elective and co-curriculum. Total credit hours and percentage for each component are as follows:
