Goals :
Food technologists are essential in the production of safe and high quality food, in an organized and planned way and within certain economic and ethical assumptions. They have in-depth knowledge of raw materials, their handling, processing, control and the development of new products, in order to offer consumers safe, convenient and healthy food.
For this reason, at each stage of their professional life, they must have tools that allow them to understand situations and respond to them - in the light of the knowledge and skills they possess and the ones they continuously acquire, through self-learning and ongoing return to school.
Professional Opportunities:
The course aims to train technicians with the knowledge and skills to carry out professional functions, at the level of food companies, and those that support them, including services and other private or public entities, in all stages of the food production chains, from conception until consumption. Alongside this training, the aim of the course is also to train technicians as responsible citizens aware of their role in the society in which their professional activities are carried out.
