The Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, Audit, and Information Technology (AAIT) program at Conestoga College is a unique degree program that provides students with a comprehensive education in accounting, audit, and information technology.

The Bachelor of Computer Science (Honours) (BCS) degree is a four-year program, including three paid co-op work terms, which will prepare graduates for a number of progressive job opportunities as high-quality software developers.

The Bachelor of Engineering - Building Systems Engineering (BSE) program delivered at the honors level, is accredited by the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board (CEAB) allowing graduates to become professional engineers after completing their mandatory work experience and writing a professional practice exam. This paid co-op program explores the present and future of modern, energy-efficient and sustainable buildings with increasingly complex operational systems. The BSE program targets motivated individuals looking for challenging careers in design and integration of building systems, energy, and utilities as well as building operations and facilities management. Delivered using a project-based learning environment, the BSE program allows students to solve real-world problems by integrating mechanical, electrical and control engineering knowledge with environmental, business, project management concepts and team dynamics skills. The three co-op work terms and the increasingly complex projects, strategically integrated with academic semesters, enhance students’ skills and job readiness.

The definition of ‘theatre’ has changed in many ways throughout history but, at its core, theatre is storytelling. Whether it is performed live on stage; sharing the same space and air as an audience; or digitally through an app or movie, we use theatre to share our experiences. Technology is part of everyday lives and allows us to access and explore new forms of visual and digital storytelling that live in real-time; from Tik Tok to audiobooks, film, YouTube, video games, virtual reality (VR), Netflix, and more.

Our program is designed as a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Studio Art, rather than a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA), to allow students to combine their passion in Studio Art more easily with major or minor programs in many other disciplines. Currently, in our program, students pair Studio Art with Psychology, French, English, Creative Writing, Theatre Studies, Criminal Justice and Public Policy, Art History, and Philosophy.

The Sociology program will equip you with the skills to understand how society operates locally and globally. Gain insight into the cause of and solutions to inequality and inequity through a combination of theoretical and hands-on work. As a Sociology major, you'll be prepared to critically analyze and evaluate information in order to address diverse social and political issues.

In the Psychology program, you'll use different perspectives and schools of thought to look at the mind from multiple angles. Then you'll be able to put these theories into practice through course work, experiments, projects and co-op work terms to prepare you for a fulfilling career in a variety of fields such as counselling, marketing, mental health work, human resources and more.

A degree in Political Science helps students understand the political context in which critical issues affect populations as individuals, families, and more. Political Science students often go on to exist in the epicenter of community intersecting with the state, rights and responsibilities and public policy, and the relationships between cities, countries and peoples – to name a few.

Philosophy graduates thrive in all walks of life by learning to challenge people’s assumptions, develop strong skills in writing, communication, critical and analytical thinking, and research. Therefore, they leave the program with the ability to deliver persuasive arguments to any audience.

Mathematics is an invaluable element of economic analysis and through your studies you will develop your aptitude for mathematics by considering its application to economic problems, all while gaining a solid understanding of social policy issues and government actions.

Whether at a global scale or in local communities, Applied Science provides the unique skills and experience to give you an edge in the competitive job market and improve.

Graduates of the University of Guelph's Marketing Management major are equipped with the practical and theoretical knowledge in marketing specific topics, including consumer psychology, market research, advertising pricing, product development, quality management and consumer law, with plenty of opportunities to learn outside of the lecture hall with an international exchange at one of our partner universities or helping a local business develop a marketing plan for a course credit.

Sexuality and gender, including the transgender experience, have a long history tied to masculinity, heteronormativity, discrimination, power, privilege, and inequality. It is the social constructs of sexuality and gender that influence and impact social, political, economic, and cultural systems, and ultimately define your sense of belonging and dictate your freedom in society.
