In the agricultural and food industries, this will often require changes to laws, public policies and the organization of markets – which is where your skills and experience as a FARE student will be crucial.

The European Studies program is designed for students who seek a career in international Relations-especially in International Business and Administration-between Canada and Europe. The program offers a unique specialization in European business or European culture and civilization to further your specialization.

Our program is designed as a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Studio Art, rather than a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA), to allow students to combine their passion in Studio Art more easily with major or minor programs in many other disciplines. Currently, in our program, students pair Studio Art with Psychology, French, English, Creative Writing, Theatre Studies, Criminal Justice and Public Policy, Art History, and Philosophy.

In this program, you’ll explore contemporary poetry, popular literature, and literatures from around the world. You’ll learn how literary history influences our current culture and talk about the lessons we’ve learned from literature, film, and media to better understand each other and the world around us.

As an economist, you will possess an in-depth knowledge of economics to help you understand the implications of business and economic trends and the economic issues of our time, from local to global levels. The skills you acquire throughout the program will empower you with the tools to tackle various interests, from learning how to invest intelligently, to changes in tax systems or health insurance, even to current market trends in the location of your own home.

Since the beginning of time, humankind has used technology in different ways, from simple tools to the digital age we find ourselves in currently. The more humans interacted with technology, the more they asked of their tools, and the relationship between humans and technology in turn was a powerful force in shaping culture more generally.

How do central criminal justice institutions and processes of government, like policymaking, civic engagement and the overall legal system, work and operate? What improvements can be made to pre-existing systems to create more just procedures and outcomes? Learn about real-world public policy and its effect on the Canadian criminal justice system and graduate with a critical understanding of political and social issues while building a solid foundation for a career or further studies in law, policy and justice.

Our professors understand the importance of telling these stories because they know that the written word can save the world, one story at a time.

Our Classical Studies graduates are strong communicators who have substantial understanding of people, ethics, modern society, historical events, and language. This knowledge is applicable across industries where there is a need for leaders, decision-makers, and complex problem-solvers including, government, law, and medicine.
