The BSc Business and Management program The Business and Management degree program would equip students with a broad knowledge and appreciation of issues faced in the world of business. BEng Mechanical Engineering program is a four year degree program for those who want to gain knowledge in mechanical engineering to pursue a career in industry or continue in graduate studies. The degree is awarded after the successful completion of 132 credit hours of undergraduate work listed in the curriculum below, including a compulsory industrial internship and Capstone project.

The Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) degree is a 4 year 128 credit hour program taught in English, designed to produce graduates who are competent in their major disciplines, as well as IT in general; graduates who are ready to be involved in the development of Omani industry. As the name "Colleges of Applied Sciences" suggests, our students are exposed to significant practical work and, where possible, linkages with Omani industry are being developed and exploited.

The BSc Marketing program focus on marketing; however, it is rooted in a broader study of business and management. Students will have the opportunity to specialize in specific areas of marketing (including digital marketing and branding) while gaining a solid foundation in the main areas of business and management.

This 4-year degree program prepares students to be successful electronic engineers. The Engineering program, which developed for the College of Applied Sciences in Sohar by faculty of Engineering/Sultan Qaboos University, is based on international standards to facilitate national and international recognition through accreditation in the future. The Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) criteria are adopted. Interior design is the process of conceptualizing space and creating commodious and expressive interior environments, which enhance the quality of life and contribute to the health, safety and welfare of society. The practice of interior design integrates the aesthetic and the cultural domains with the functional and the technical ones to provide design solutions that respond to human needs.

In the Marine Engineering Programme, our students will be taught how to operate, maintain and repair all machinery onboard any type of ship of any size and tonnage. In our department, this academic program emphasizes hands-on experiences that expand on your classroom learning. The Architectural Engineering program aims to provide the knowledge and skills required for designing and overseeing the construction work of buildings with due consideration given to the environment aspects as well the cultural aspects of a place.

This requires more emphasis on customer orientation and sophisticated marketing practices and management. The translation program helps students to master the intellectual and scientific aspects of translation. It prepares students to become professional translators and interpreters. The program aims at fulfilling the following learning objectives: Demonstrate good control of the four basic language skills for acquiring and exchanging information; Acquire knowledge of concepts, current issues, and research methods in Linguistics and Translation; Translate different types of texts from English into Arabic and vice versa; Apply knowledge and principles of translation in order to be professional translators and interpreters in collaboration with the community; Use knowledge of the various linguistic systems to perform efficiently oral and written communicative acts within social contexts; Perform translation and interpretation using the latest technology; Demonstrate awareness and knowledge of language’s role in promoting social and cross-cultural understanding.
