Introduction
Objectives
The French sector was created in accordance with the multicultural program of Babeş-Bolyai University and meets the expectations of the Romanian society, which is part of the European Union. This stream offers students the opportunity to specialize in an application area of economics, accounting (and computer) management so that at the end of three years of study, they will easily find a job in a business. French orientation, even more - they will be coveted by employers in the French-speaking world. These objectives are supported by partnerships with major Francophone universities and institutions, as well as external stakeholders in the professional and academic sphere.
Skills and Abilities
Thanks to the content of the disciplines provided and the methods for evaluating student performance, the program ensures the acquisition of professional and transversal skills nominated by the European Qualifications Framework (EQF). The relevance of the program is similar to the national, European and international occupations specific to the field. In terms of professional skills (for example data processing to draw up financial statements or the use of computer resources), internships and events that bring together students and professors in the sector with French-speaking companies and institutions installed in the region, have a considerable contribution. In terms of transversal skills, we must also mention the activities of the students association of the French sector (AELF).
