Introduction
Bahçeşehir University’s Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department offers the following undergraduate and postgraduate programs:
- Electrical and Electronics Engineering Undergraduate Program
- Electrical and Electronics Engineering Graduate Program
- Embedded Systems Graduate Program (in conjunction with the Computer Engineering and Software Engineering Departments)
The Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department offers a double major and the following lateral branch program as well:
- Control and Automation Lateral Branch Program
- Electronic Circuits and Systems Lateral Branch Program
Research activities in the department:
- Electrical Circuits and Devices
- Signal Processing and Communication
- Control and Automation of Power Systems and Electronics
- Electromagnetic Practices and Calculation/Optical
Some of the various research subjects in these four fields include: chip and FPGA design and automation, machinery viewing, microelectronic, video compression, vision repair, movement tracking, 3-dimensional graphics and television, multi-antenna, broadband transmitter communication, information theory, coding, multi-varied and big dimensional systems, different control, robot dynamics and control, motor condition tracking, power quality instrumentation, wave propagation and scattering, meta-materials and surface plasmon based sensors, adverse problems about biomedical visualization, detection of land mine, and elastic wave propagation. In addition to the many computer laboratories and smart classes which are available to the students of the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department, the department also offers training in the areas of VLSI Design, Communication, Power Electronics and Systems, Microprocessors, Electronic, Numerical Signal Processing and Circuit Theory.
