Introduction
Bachelor of Business Administration
Presentation and Professional Profile
The course aims to enable the student to work in the most diverse areas, such as Foreign Trade, Finance, Logistics, Marketing, Production, among others.
Main goal
Train higher-level professionals with the capacity to work in the administrative area, observing ethical principles, who are capable of interacting in the social environment, contributing to the strengthening of the institution, whether in the business or public area, in addition to contributing to promoting the transformations that are taking place in society.
Specific objective
As specific objectives of the Course, the main skills that will be developed in the trainees are:
- Apply content that promotes innovation and creative capacity;
- Solve situations with adaptation and flexibility;
- Develop logical, critical and analytical thinking;
- Understand the administrative whole;
- Use interpersonal communication and correct expression in the interpretation of reality;
- Develop the ability to order activities and programs;
- Resolve situations that involve deciding on alternatives and sizing risks;
- Apply theories in different organizational and social contexts.
Labor market
The services sector offers the most opportunities, especially in the Business Tourism sector. In general management, the emphasis is on Human Resources, Logistics, Finance and Sales. UNIESP Business Administration students learn how to deal with various day-to-day challenges in companies, how to avoid and find failures, what are the best postures and attitudes to solve employee behavioral problems, what are their roles and responsibilities, as an administrator and as a citizen, etc.
Main Theoretical and Practical Subjects
The first two years are occupied by basic disciplines, such as Mathematics, Statistics, Law, Sociology, Accounting and Informatics. From the third year on, specific subjects begin, such as Logistics, Finance, Marketing and Human Resources.
Supervised internship
The internship is a moment of fundamental importance in the professional training process. We, at UNIESP, carry out training that enables students to experience what is being learned at the Faculty, with the function of integrating the numerous disciplines that make up the academic curriculum, giving them structural unity and testing their level of consistency and degree of rapport.
