Forge your path to business leadership with our comprehensive Honours of Business Administration (Management) (B308) degree program. From foundational principles to cutting-edge practices, we prepare you for a career in the global marketplace.

This interdisciplinary eight-semester program blends core business principles with contemporary management practices. You will begin by building a solid base in microeconomics, macroeconomics, and financial accounting before advancing to more specialized subjects, including risk management, leadership, and operations management.

The curriculum emphasizes quantitative and qualitative skills, incorporating statistical methods, financial mathematics, and research courses. The program also focuses on developing critical thinking and ethical decision-making abilities, preparing graduates for leadership roles in diverse business environments. Co-operative work experience and a two-part capstone project in the final year provide valuable real-world application of learned concepts.

The program provides pathways for graduates from selected business and information technology diplomas. Students can expect the following from this program:

Your Field Education Options

Work-integrated learning experiences that amount to no less than 14 weeks of full-time equivalent work (420 hours) between semesters 6 and 7, either in one block or in multiple cumulative blocks appropriate to achieving the program learning outcomes.

The Centre for Business has established field education oversight processes through its existing programs and employs staff dedicated to facilitating field supervision. In addition, program staff members actively facilitate partnerships with industry to optimize students’ work experience opportunities.

Field experience for current students is primarily available with experienced industry professionals within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
