Curriculum
To receive the Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies from Hampton University, students must complete a total of 120 credit hours, which includes 33 hours of General Education Requirements, 42 hours of Liberal Arts Electives (LAE), and 45 hours of Additional Free Electives (AFE). Liberal Studies students must also have at least a minimum of 2.0 cumulative grade point average and earn a “C” or above in ENG 101, ENG 102, and COM 103.
Transfer credits count toward the Liberal Studies degree and must have a grade of “C” or better.
