Introduction
Hospitality is one of the most important industries that countries are interested in and are interested in increasing tourists' attractions. Hospitality is one of the most important factors in tourism. The success of countries in terms of tourism depends on the development and improvement of hospitality services and the knowledge and capabilities of the people who manage and work in this field. The hospitality industry includes several areas such as hotels, international restaurant chains, aviation services, and the services provided by oil companies and factories.
And based on the importance of hospitality and tourism, Ibn Rushd College of Management Sciences has designed a specialized academic program that awards a bachelor's degree in hospitality management. The program focuses on developing student skills in the hospitality industry's most important pillars: room service and food and beverage operations management. The program also focuses on developing the student's theoretical skills by providing scientific resources and the most recent books in the field of hospitality. Also, the program is concerned with improving and developing the applied skills of the student through intensive training in the faculty laboratories, in addition to requiring application in one of the approved hotels or resorts for a period of at least one academic term to obtain the academic degree to achieve the full benefit of the student to be fully prepared for work after graduation. . Cooperative training aims to enhance and strengthen the student's skills and to enhance his experience through dealing with guests, managers and colleagues.
The hospitality management program offers a set of study materials that help the graduate student to perform his duties and responsibilities at the highest level of professionalism, including computer applications in the room department and food and beverage operations, planning and management of hospitality facilities, risk and safety management, conference and event management.
