Introduction

The Faculty of Business Administration (FBA) at the Prague University of Economics and Business is among the most respected schools in Central and Eastern Europe focused on the field of management. Our mission is to generate and transmit knowledge, develop skills, and form attitudes for the successful management of companies and organisations in a changing global environment.

The FBA has, as the only faculty in the Czech Republic, the prestigious international EQUIS accreditation. This means the FBA ranks among the 1% of best business schools in the world.

In the Financial Times "Master in Management Ranking 2022" our faculty ranked 25th with the international CEMS MIM programme, entering the company of prestigious schools such as Esade Business School (16th) or WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) (28th). Last but not least, the MBA programme taught at the FBA is consistently evaluated as one of the Top 3 MBA programmes in Eastern Europe.

The MBA programme of the Faculty of Business Administration received the prestigious AMBA accreditation. International accreditation AMBA is considered the world’s most important accreditation in the field of MBA studies. So far, worldwide only 286 of the best business schools have received it, such as the University of St. Gallen or HEC Paris. The faculty has been conferred with AMBA accreditation as the only such institute in the Czech Republic.

Campus & Facilities . All students of VŠE obtain a student VŠE ID card which allows them to use the facilities and services offered by the university, i.e. library, canteen, computer laboratory, WiFi connection, etc.

Admissions

Students, who meet all the admission requirements, i.e. passed the entrance exams and delivered all the required documents, will be immediately enrolled as full-time students..

Submit an E-application and fill in all requested columns, and upload required documents in the section “Documents”. . Entrance exam . Recognition of previous university degree. Integral & necessary part of the Admission procedure.

Admission is based on the student’s university transcript, application, resume (CV), and English language knowledge. It is required that a student applying for admission must have at least one year (2 semesters) finished at his/her home university.

How to Apply

Visa Requirements

The project “Student Mode” is the concept of visa facilitation for students-foreigners from selected third countries who are admitted to study at higher education institutions in the Czech Republic. By being enrolled in the Student Mode, students have an opportunity to get a Visa appointment date preferentially.

Scholarships and Funding

According to the Scholarship Regulation for Master Degree 4/2018, the student has a right to obtain a scholarship under the condition that he/she properly registers under the given conditions by sending the student coordinator a request containing: the study program and the semester in which the student is in the winter semester of the current year,.
