Introduction

As an interdisciplinary humanities student, you’ll create your own major, according to your own individual interests, abilities, and career or education plans. The program emphasizes the development of skills in reasoning, critical thinking, language, and writing.

Program Outcome
Spring Hill’s program in interdisciplinary humanities allows students to explore research topics that bring together ideas, methods, and material from two or more academic disciplines. Students graduate from the program being able to synthesize, interpret, and communicate knowledge and experience through writing, speaking, and creative expression in a variety of media.
Career Opportunities
Students who graduate from our interdisciplinary humanities degree program are able to use their strong liberal arts skills and knowledge in practical situations. This program produces a well-rounded graduate with heavily demanded experiences and skills.
