Introduction
Scientists and engineers use mathematical knowledge as the foundation on which they formulate theories and natural laws and express their ideas. Our Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics is designed to provide you with a solid understanding of mathematics and the ability to use it. In addition to fundamental mathematical theory, you will be trained in applying mathematical modeling and computational methods to formulate and solve practical problems arising in business, finance, government, engineering, physical science, life science, and social science. Within our Mathematics degree, you may choose to specialize in:
