University of Agder
Introduction
The University of Agder’s vision is “co-creation of tomorrow’s knowledge” and we aim to accomplish this through close collaboration with regional, national and international partners. UiA has 1,400 employees and 13,500 students on two campuses, Kristiansand and Grimstad. UiA offers Bachelor, Master and PhD programmes in many disciplines and several of the Master’s programmes are taught in English. We have a long history of student exchange and were one of the first institutions in Europe awarded the ECTS label. Each year, we welcome approximately 450 exchange students and send about 400 abroad. In 2020, UiA was chosen as a Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence for its achievements in the field of European studies. UiA joined the FORTHEM Alliance in September 2021.

Campus Features
Campus Kristiansand is modeled on American campuses, with short distances between buildings and large green spaces connecting everything. Compact, but open. Large, but easily navigable.
Campus Grimstad is situated in Southern Norway’s technology park and is therefore near many businesses, some of which are cooperating with UiA. The campus is new, modern, and well-adapted to student life.
